The SPRC2197 planetary axle is engineered to meet the increasing demands of Off-Highway vocations. Log haulers, truck cranes, dump trucks, heavy equipment transporters and special purpose vehicles work in some of the most grueling environments in the world and Cummins-Meritor tandem planetary axles are designed with these conditions in mind. The SPRC2197 supports up to 760,000 lb (344,750 kg) in gross combination weights (GCW) dependent upon specific vocational duty cycle requirements with the capability to support increased driveline torques and loading requirements for prolonged service and durability.
Featuring a wide selection of gear reduction options, single or dual style wheel hub mountings and optional inter-axle differential with a pressurized oil lubrication system, the SPRC2197 can be tailored to your specific needs.
