purpose

Seidel Road extends as a 4-lane median divided minor arterial and has been experiencing sustained levels of crashes and speeding above and beyond its posted speed. The corridor is primarily surrounded by single family residential subdivisions and an elementary (K to 8 Grades) and high school (9-12 Grades) that were recently opened towards the west end of the corridor. The purpose of the qualitative assessment was to evaluate prevailing operating traffic flow conditions and identify areas where improvements would be potentially beneficial and safely accessed by all road users.
