Limits: South Westwood Boulevard to North Westwood Boulevard

Widening Existing International Drive from Four (4) Lane Divided Section to a Six(6) Lane Divided Section Project Length – 2.466 Miles (13,020 Linear Feet)

The widening will take place inside the existing median.

Limits/Location - to include:

• six lanes, lighting, landscaping, raised medians, modifying existing signals at the intersections of International Drive and Westwood Boulevard. South, Central Florida Parkway, Aquatica Driveway, Sea Harbor Drive, Westwood Boulevard North. There will be a new mast-arm traffic signal at the intersection of International Drive and Avenida Vista.

The proposed improvements will alleviate traffic congestion and provide additional linkage of the transportation network in the International Drive tourist corridor by improving the roadway capacity, in addition to enhancing the safety in the project area.

Project is under construction.
